Hailed as the first international grime emcee, Tre Mission teams up with fellow Tizzy Gang member Merky ACE for ‘Old School Roadman Jacket’, giving us the first insight to their forthcoming mixtape ‘Opps Next Door’ Vol. 1.
Laying down greazy vocals, the collective take grime to the fringe of trap on the sinister beat that builds through to a hook that is set to be wheeled up in every grime rave going. Making its radio debut with DJ Target, the record epitomizes the transatlantic spread of grime and the love for the UK’s standout sound.
Having been taken under the wing of Wiley (long before Drake was on the scene), clashing on Lord of the Mics and releasing his Stigmata album via Big Dada, which featured Wiley, Skepta, JME, Kaos and his Tizzy Gang comrade Merky Ace. Tre Mission continues to represent the UK sound in his Canadian tone alongside two of the UK’s most inspired emcees. The collective have gone on to collaborate with an equally impressive line up for their own project which sees Canadian and UK talent in abundance as MIK, Vic Santoro, Nasty Jack, Jason Packs, Lord Cutty and Kokane feature on the currently unheard joints, while production credits go to Splurt Diablo, Filthy Gears, Tay Lewis, Rich Kidd and Faze Miyake.
Creating an innovative sound that sets them apart from the rest of the scene right now, and some strong foundations already laid, Tizzy Gang are set to shake things up in 2017.
