NEW MUSIC: Punk is back with “The Life of Emo” by Captain Cuts

CC Pedi - PhotoByJamesMarcusHaney WEB.jpg‘The Life of Emo’ is a follow up to last year’s If You’re Listening It’s Never Too Late, their first emo-pop mixtape. Their latest release dynamically pairs artists that are both hilarious and unexpected, drawing on the vocals of pop punk bands like Blink 182 and Panic! at the Disco and seamlessly setting them to beats from modern names in pop and EDM for an impossibly catchy set.
Next week, Captain Cuts will be performing in L.A. at The Echoplex for the second anniversary of Emo Nite, a regular party hosted by the crew, as well as a mixtape release show in New York.
