A new release from UK singer/songwriter Charlie Winston from his recent album “Curio City” -sprawling, complex modern pop reminiscent of Metronomy and Bombay Bicycle Club.
Cornish-born, Suffolk-bred Charlie Winston started his solo writing path playing all over Europe on a shoestring: Germany, France, Italy, Spain – performing anywhere that would take him and embodying the wandering troubadour style that would eventually bring him to international attention – making a platinum-selling album in ‘Hobo’ and touring with Peter Gabriel, being hailed a muse by fashion design icons Trussardi and Jean-Paul Gaultier in the process.
